Share the waves with the local celebrities that will have you in awe!
The Byron Bay Adventure Company is committed to fun. They offer a terrific range of "must do" things while visiting Byron Bay, such as a trip to the top of Mt Warning to catch the first rays of the sun hitting Australia's most easterly point.
You can climb a private crag through the rainforest canopy after learning the ropes in their indoor gym if you are a first-timer.
You can cycle through Nightcap and Whian Whian National Parks at your own pace along rainforest trails and a downhill single track. And at the end of your ride, why not stop and see beautiful Minyon Falls and have a cool drink and a barbecue?
They can also take you on an experience of a lifetime in a specially-designed kayak.
As you head out to Cape Byron and the lighthouse, you will surf some of Australia's best waves and see the local dolphin population and maybe some migrating whales.
They say they spot dolphins 95 percent of the time the creatures love the sheltered bay and there is always plenty of fish for dinner.
Kayak groups range from one or two up to 20, with experienced guides leading the charge.
You meet in the car park of the Beach Cafe at Clark's Beach and change into swim gear and receive safety instructions. Then off you go to spot the dolphins!
