For a fun day out for the whole family, why not head to the Macquarie centre and get the skates on for sum fun on the ice!

Kiddies Klub

The kiddies klub is run in conjunction with the coffee club every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am 11:00am.

The lady who takes the class is Adel Leghorne. The kids start of by being fitted out with correct fitting boots, Adel ensures all those little feet are comfortable. Some kids even turn up in little sequined outfits.

The kids are then taken of to a very bright yellow table where Adel has a whole lot of snow which has been shaved of the rink for the kids to build things with and play. They then take a few lessons and sing songs to get them into the flow of moving and skating.

Coffee Club

The coffee club runs 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. The idea is to have a skate lesson and then incorporate some choreography into the skate moves towards the end of the class.

It runs from 9:00am – 11:00am. It includes a 15 minute warm up class of the ice, followed by a half hour group skate lesson and then a half hour freestyle dance lesson (usually to Waltz music). After the class every one gets together for coffee and sandwiches).

Cost

Kiddies Klub $14 ($7 if adult is doing Coffee Club), Coffee Club $16 or $13 if you have own skates.
General skating: 2 hours, including skates hire. Adults $16, Students $15, Children under 16 $14. .
