If you want to add some excitement to your holiday, parasailing is guaranteed to give you a huge buzz.
Tony Paganella started parasailing on Daydream Island, and when he returned home to Lakes Entrance, he set up shop and became the only operator in Victoria.
Tony's boat was purpose-built, and he had it trucked from Daydream. It has its launch pad attached to the back, and carries 10 passengers.
You don't need experience to enjoy parasailing, and you can go solo or tandem. You are rigged to a harness and parachute while the boat is travelling, then you are lifted up to 100 metres for the best view of the lake you will ever see.
If you want to be a bit of a daredevil you can try a "wet and wild" ride. You start up in the air and are then dropped 70 or 80 metres until your toes or knees touch the water. Then you are hoisted up, and you can do it over and over again. Tony describes it as a rollercoaster ride on water.
