Jules reckons there are two types of people in the world: those who like to know exactly where they are headed and those who like to get lost along the way. He is one who likes to be in control — he doesn't like surprises or dead-ends — so finding his way through the maze was a challenge in more ways than one.
The Maize Maze is exactly as you would expect — a maze made out of maize and is found in the town of Arthurs Seat on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. It's a seasonal crop and as it's too cold to be grown in winter, it is only on offer between February and May. It's been an attraction for 10 years at The Enchanted Maze Garden, an attraction in its own right. Each year it has a different theme.
Jules also found himself trying to find his way out of a unicorn-shaped maze. The Enchanted Maze Garden a place of family fun and there are various other mazes, enchanted gardens, a bush sculpture walk and an amazing lolly shop. All along the way there are quizzes and special activities. It's educational and whimsical at the same time. People of all ages are delighted by the experience.
The bush sculpture walk has works by local and internationally acclaimed artists. Metal, stone and wood sculptures appear at every bend in the bush.
