There're over 700km of cycle tracks throughout the city making it the easiest way to get around and see all the sights. Cruise past the 100-year-old ferris wheel or through the city centre.
Try some of the local delights including the never ending varieties of sausage on offer, as well as, the famous Viennese cake, the Sacher torte.
Most of the accommodation is located in historic centre known as the Innere Stadt. You'll find something to fit most budgets but definitely book ahead.
Not too far out of the city you can check out one of several palaces or head to the hills for a bit of wine tasting.
