David is doing the walk of fame and he has bumped into Marion Ross who played Mrs Cunningham from
Happy Days.
The famous Hollywood Walk of Fame stretches along Hollywood Boulevard from Gower Street to La Brea Avenue and on Vine Street from Yucca Street to Sunset Boulevard.
The bronze star-plaques, embedded in pink and charcoal terrazzo, are in recognition of more than 2000 artists who have made significant contributions to the film, radio, television, theatre and recording industries. The first star, placed in February, 1960, was to honour Joanne Woodward. Gene Autry has five, one for each industry, and Lassie and Rin Tin Tin are there to represent four-legged stars.
David was delighted to meet Marion Ross at her star. The unassuming actress seemed to be no different from Mrs C, the sweet mother she played in the series Happy Days.
It's unlikely visitors will see stars wandering along the Walk, but the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announces details of unveilings a few days before they happen.
